HONORING A GREAT LEADER

Today, with heavy hearts, we lay to rest our beloved father, leader, and friend, Alfonzia Brown. A man of unwavering faith, he lived a life of purpose, strength, and love.

A LIFE WELL-LIVED

Alfonzia Brown was born on November 3, 1964, in Fort Valley, Georgia, to the late Eddie Frank Brown and the late Mildred Rump Brown. He received his education in the Peach County School System and graduated from Peach County High School.

After high school, Alfonzia pursued higher education, but soon found his professional calling at Blue Bird Body Company, where he dedicated 30 years of exceptional service. Through his hard work and dedication, he became a QA Chassis Specialist.

His commitment and diligence earned him accolades, where he became a respected and admired leader among his peers.

A FAMILY MAN AND DEVOTED PROVIDER

Alfonzia was a man who found joy and purpose in his family. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, often enjoying going fishing with his grandsons. A devoted and loving father, he instilled the values of preparation, kindness, and faith in his children, always leading by example.

Those who knew Alfonzia admired his unwavering strength, independence, and intelligence. He was a quick learner, a natural leader, and a provider. Known for his kind and giving nature, he was also firm and principled, balancing compassion with a strong sense of responsibility. A man of faith above all else, Alfonzia put God first in every aspect of his life.

A LEGACY OF LOVE AND FAITH

On January 11, 2025, Alfonzia was called home to be with our Heavenly Father. He leaves behind a loving and supportive family, cherished friends, and countless lives touched by his kindness and guidance.

Alfonzia was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Frank and Mildred Rumph Brown, siblings. Rose Brown and Dexter Brown; and grandmother, Mamie L. Rumph.

A LEGACY LEFT

• leaves to cherish his children, Precious Brown, Kaneisha (Quantavius) Wade, Lakeitha Brown, Kevin Adams, and Alfonzia Brown; grandchildren, Mariah Hillman, Dorian Barner, Keith Jones, Ashanti Wade, Khole Brown, Destiny Wade, phanie Brown, Quanterrius Wade, Lamarcus Wade, Josiah Brown, Legaceigh Brown; and siblings, Kenneth (Gwen) own, Tanisha Brown, and Omega Brown. Also, he has a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends that he loved dearly.
