Obituary

Ms. Conswer Latrese Holmes was born on August 25, 1978, to the union of the late Mr. Leon Holmes and the late Mrs.

Deborah Holmes Walker in Thomaston, Upon County, Georgia.

She received her formal education at Upson Lee High School in Thomaston, Georgia. Conswer was raised in the church, and at an early age, she joined Mt. Olive in Molena, Georgia. During her later years of adulthood, she joined New Hope Baptist Church.

Ms. Conswer Holmes was known by many names to her family and close friends, "Mama," "MeMe," "Baby Naid," "Mole, "Koolie,"

"Ice Cold Water," and "Kool-Aid." She had a joyous spirit and a contagious smile. She loved to interact with the youth. Prior to her disability, she worked with several educational programs.

Kool-Aid spent a short time working at the Georgia Baptist Children's Home, Childcare Connections as a preschool assistant, and her favorite positions, as a substitute teacher within the Thomaston-Upson school system. In her leisure time, you could find her somewhere cruising with the music blasting and the beat thumping. Kool-Aid loved to dance, get her nails done, and spend quality time with her family.

On Friday, March 1, 2024, God called out to Conswer, and she surrendered her earthly life and gained her wings to be with her Heavenly Father. The Lord responded, "Well done, my good and faithful servant, this battle is no longer yours. Enter into the joy of the Lord." She was preceded in death by her dad, Leon Holmes; mother, Deborah Holmes Walker; brother, Antonio Holmes; paternal and maternal grandparents; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ms. Conswer Holmes leaves her everlasting memories to be cherished by her children, Devin Holmes, Achaia Holmes, Tykeseya Holmes, Stevie and Stephanie Carriker; grandkids, Messiah Little "doobutt," Chai Little "bhudda;" siblings, La Tonya Holmes, Horace Montfort, III, and Alexix Walker; nieces, MaKhalia Smith, Iyanla Smith, and Kashanti "TT" Brown, with thirteen nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, bonus children, godchildren, other relatives, family, and friends.

Kool-Aid truly will be missed.
