A time to plant… Glenda Gene was educated in the public school system of Upson County, Georgia. She attended and graduated from R. E. Lee High School. A time to weep… Glenda Gene was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Walter Charlies Snipes and Dora Mae Snipes; siblings, Mr. Sammy Snipes and Mr. Alvin Tamplin; and grandparents, Mr. Leonard and Mrs. Estalla Lockhart Snipes and Mrs. Pauline Howell and Mr. Isaiah Akins. A time to build… Glenda Gene accepted the Lord as her Savior and she was in fellowship with the Followers of Jesus of Thomaston. This ministry meant a lot to Glenda Gene. She also loved to take prayer walks with Mrs. Kelly Kauffman. A time gather stones… Glenda Gene was employed at the Cupboard Deli and Standard Textile. She loved to dance and praise the Lord with all her heart. Glenda Gene most of all loved and enjoyed her family. Her family loved Glenda's personality and her sense of humor. Glenda loved to make her family and friends laugh. A time to weep… Glenda was courageous and strong as she battled many things in life. She fought the good fight and kept her faith in God. On November 23, 2022, Glenda Gene took her rest from her labor on earth and gained heavenly reward with Christ Jesus.
