Juanita Jones Berry

Mrs. Juanita Jones Berry was born on June 28, 1959, to the union of Dorothy and Charlie Jones.

She received her formal education through the Spalding County School System.

Juanita was employed with Spalding County DFCS for over 20 years as a foster parent before retiring.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed working crossword puzzles, spending time with her grandchildren, and watching cooking shows.

On Saturday, September 6, 2025, Juanita Jones Berry peacefully departed this life. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Jones; father, Charlie Jones; aunt, Doris Vaughn; and grandson, Onyx Marshall.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Lonnika (Anthony) Marshall and Tyzianna (Sean) Hazlett; two sons, Reatris Ellis and Zerrick Hubbard; sisters, Rocky Jones, Penny Jones Wakefield, and Naterial Anderson; three brothers, Charlie Jones, Alton (Cindy) McFarlin, and Charlie Jones Jr.; seven grandchildren, Kardae Wright, Ah'King Marshall, Ethan Marshall, Kynlee Marshall, Ace Dewberry, Truth Marshall, and Junee Hazlett.

She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends, including special friends Gus Phillips, Veronica Cleveland, and Kristen Tiller, all of whom will miss her dearly.
