Kurtis Eugene Robinson, 51, passed away on December 7, 2023, in Detroit, Michigan. He was born on October 6, 1972 in Atlanta, Georgia, to Rodjaline Robinson-Walton and Leroy Robinson. He was a proud resident of Atlanta, however, he had spent the last 9 years of his life in Detroit. Just as he had decided to return home to Atlanta to build a life with his soulmate, Tahiki Nunn, tragedy struck and he was snatched away. Music was his passion and it led him to friendships that will last beyond this lifetime. Kurtis "Hollywood" Robinson was a force of nature. Anyone that met him instantly became another star in his galaxy. His love for his family and friends was unquestionable.  The phrase "Gone too Soon" has never held more meaning than it does now within the hearts of those he left behind. He is survived by his children, Kurtis Robinson (Jr.), Osjale Moorman, To'Mia Simmons and Ja'niah Simmons; his siblings, Ben-Oni James and Kenneth Robinson; as well as both parents Rodjaline Robinson-Walton and Leroy Robinson; and also nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition, he had a host of friends, too numerous to list, that have been devastated by his passing.
