Ms. Lizzie Ruth Wyatt of Griffin, Georgia, passed on May 31, 2023, at the age of ninety-four.

Mother Wyatt was born August 14, 1928, in Griffin, Georgia, to the late Milton and Luddie Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her thirteen siblings. Mother Wyatt was a kind and loving person. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking for them as well as others.

Mother Wyatt was a hard worker, she worked in the restaurant industry for years, and then later worked at Thomas Packing Company most of her adult life. Mother Wyatt retired from Dundee Mills Lowell Bleachery in 1992.

Mother Wyatt joined Eighth Street Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor M.M. Solomon, where she served faithfully until her health failed. She loved the Lord, served on the Senior Usher Board, and attended the Young Adult Sunday School class.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two children, a loving, devoted daughter, Linda Morris Davis, and loving son, Danny Joe (Patty)

Brysan Hampton; two great-great-grandchildren, Jayden Jenkins and Chailynn Jenkins; several special nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many special friends, Brenda Gossett, Sandra Duffey, Minister Amey Mangham, Reverend Dr. A.C. O'Neal, Belinda Weems, Le Carl Weems, the Brightmoor family and the Eighth Street Baptist Church family.
