Mr. Jahlil Jamal “Streetmoney” Jester

Jahlil Jamal “Streetmoney” Jester was born on February 06, 1999, in Griffin, Georgia, to Roseline Lawson and Heywood Jester. A native of Spalding County, Jahlil was raised in Griffin, Georgia, where he developed deep roots within his family, community, and church.

Jahlil was a proud graduate of Griffin High School, Class of 2018. After high school, he began working at UPS, where he remained employed until his health began to decline. Despite facing an untimely health failure, Jahlil remained resilient and surrounded by the love of those closest to him.

A devoted family man, Jahlil loved his family deeply—especially his parents. He was an active member of his church, where his faith and commitment were evident. Jahlil had a passion for wrestling and found joy in music, especially the song “God’s Got a Blessing”, which reflected his belief and hope even in difficult seasons.

Jahlil was preceded in death by his grandparents; Charlie Jester, Azley Jester and Charlie Lawson; aunt Sabrina, his sister Quisa, his aunt Joyce, and his uncle Lewis.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Heywood Jester and Roseline Lawson; his siblings, Dontavious Wilson, Jasmine Jester, Josselyn Jester, Janessa Jester, Janiyah Jester, Hailey Jester, Arnethia Roberts, and Quintavious Lawson; his grandmother, Mattie Fambro; his uncles, Charlie Lawson, Jr.; aunt, Sharonda Lawson; his nieces, Jaida, Kinsley, Drianna Harmony, and Draya; his nephews, Derwin Jr. and Kyril; a special cousin, Charleston Jester; along with a host of extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever treasure his life and legacy.

Jahlil Jamal “Streetmoney” Jester will be remembered for his love, faith, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.
