IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert
Jordan
October 18, 1948 – March 20, 2024
The future is not ours to know, and it may never be, so let us live and give our best, never anticipating or doubting the power of our Savior, asking nothing of tomorrow except..."Thy Will Be Done."
Mr. Robert Jordan was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie and Willie Mae Jordan. He was born on October 18, 1948, in Jackson, Georgia. He departed his life on March 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Robert confessed his life to Christ at an early age, joining Macedonia Baptist Church. He graduated from Henderson High School in 1966, served in the Vietnam War, and retired from the City of Atlanta Public Works.
After retirement, he enjoyed doing yard work; working around the house; caring for his two dogs, Pecan and Rocko; grilling; shopping; and spending time with his daughter.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Kristie Shonda Jordan; goddaughters, Sariya Smith, Avonte, and Frances Jester; two brothers which preceded him in death, Mr. Lewis Jordan and Charlie Jordan, Jr.; one sister, Lillie Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; two special friends, Clarence Mcghee and Vivian Sims.
