THE LIFE OF RON

Sheldorn Sheron Blackmon was born August 13, 1977, in Griffin, Georgia, to Wilbert Blackmon and Barbara Williams Driver. Ron departed his earthly life on April 29, 2024.

Ron received his GED in 2003. He was a welder for Supreme Corp. for many years until he followed his dream of becoming a truck driver. Ron obtained his CLD license and began his employment with JB Hunt Trucking Company. Ron was employed with JB Hunts until his passing. Ron was also huge on family and friends, ensuring he shared his love with all. He was known best as "THE GREAT DEBATER."

Не was preceded, in death by his grandparents, Evelyn Williams, Winnie Crawford, Jimmy Calloway, Jimmy Hickmon, Sr., and Broddrick A. Blackmon; a sister, Barbara Stillwell; and very special cousins, Zeania Weaver and Kadarius Blackmon. He leaves in cherished memories: mother, Barbara (Darriel) Driver; father, Wilbert (Marilyn) Blackmon; siblings, Tameka Blackmon, Catina Blackmon, Kasey Blackmon, Wilbert (Vanessa) Blackmon, Jr., Thomas (Frankie) Raines, Damarcus Blackmon, Wanda (Demetrius) Gray, Jasmine Driver, and Sherod Driver; a niece that he loved as his own, Taniya J. Blackmon; goddaughter who he also loved as his own, Markeisha R. Green; bonus siblings, Barry and Randy Calloway, Dicie, Tyronda, Leon, and Charlie; a very special aunt whom he loved as a mother, Melanie Jennings; special friend, Rosalind Freeman. Ron loved all of his family and friends with all of his heart.
