The Legacy of a Caregiver

Ms. Trina Byrd was born in Griffin, Georgia, on December 30,1983, to the late Charlie Byrd and Paula Jackson.

She had a deep love for God and was dedicating her life to God. Ms.Trina accepted Christ as her lord and survivor at an early age. Her last months she was committed to growing spiritual with him.

"T Byrd" as she was affectionately known. She received her education from Griffin/Spalding school system. She obtained a degree in nursing at Southern Crescent Technical College in 2018. She was employed at Brightmoor Nursing Home in Griffin, Georgia, for 23 years. She dedicated her heart and soul working as a nurse supervisor, touching countless lives with her compassion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to her patients. Her love for nursing went beyond just a job- it was her true calling; and the impact she made on her colleagues and patients will always be remembered and cherished.

On February 21,2025, our Heavenly Father called his daughter, Trina back home from this earthly life.

She was proceeded in death by her father Charlie Byrd; grandfather, Paula Clark Jr.: grandmother, Annie Kate Gilbert; aunts, Satinia Gilbert, Veronica Gilbert, and Frankie Byrd; uncle, Al Gilbert, Roy Byrd, and Jimmie Byrd; and cousins, Erica Watkins, Kizzy Collier, Casanica Gilbert-Fini, Willie Collier, Robert Clark Jr, and Clauderrious Fini.

Ms. Trina Byrd leaves a lasting legacy full of loving memories to her children, Trinity Griffin, Jamaya Byrd, Tayla Holton, Jaden Byrd, Aj Goodrum Jr., and Ava Goodrum; her boyfriend, Twain Goodrum; grandchildren, Layla Leaks and Baby Garrett; mother, Paula (Eugene) Jackson; siblings, Lamettretya Clark, Maurice Clark, and Charmeshia Byrd; and twin sister, Keena Byrd; and a host of nieces and nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends who will miss you dearly.
