Walter accepted the Lord as his Savior at a young age, and he was a proud member of Eighth Street Baptist Church.

A TIME TO GATHER STONES...

Walter worked in food services, and he was an advocate and number one fan for the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons. Walter was a great dancer and loved his family. His family loved Walter's sense of humor. Walter loved to make his family and friends laugh.

A TIME TO WEEP...

Walter was courageous and strong as he battled many things in life. He fought the good fight of faith in God.

On January 5, 2024, Walter took his rest from his labor on earth and gained heavenly reward with Christ Jesus.

Walter is survived by his loving and devoted daughter, Lasondra "Shell" White, siblings, Sherry Berry Lamar,

Reginald "Don" (Joyce) Berry, and Tony (Mattie) Berry; companion in life, Maxcine Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
