Mr. Wayne Peterson
Owner/ Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Wayne Peterson, was born and raised in Panama City, FL. Mr. Peterson graduated from Rutherford High School. Mr. Peterson attended college where he begin to take EMT classes until he changed his career to the funeral profession where he begin to work under the leadership of Mr. Willie C. Battle at Memorial Funeral Home in Panama City, FL. Upon moving to Ga in 1982 Mr. Peterson begin to work under the leadership of Mr. John Roger Miller at Miller's Funeral Home until 2016. Mr. Peterson and his daughter Sha-Meeka Peterson-Smith thought it would be a great idea to start their own firm. In 2019 Mr. Peterson & his daughter opened up Peterson's Funeral Home, LLC.

Mr. Wayne Peterson

Mrs. Sha-Meeka Peterson-Smith
Chief Operational Officer/ Officer Manager
Mrs. Sha-Meeka Peterson-Smith is a native of Griffin, Georgia. Sha-Meeka is the proud daughter of Mr. Wayne Peterson and Ms. Bobbie Alford Peterson. She-Meeka is a graduate of Griffin-Spalding County School System.
After graduating from high school, Sha-Meeka attended Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Services where she obtained an Associate of Science Degree in Mortuary Science. Becoming a Funeral Director has been one of Sha-Meeka's dreams from childhood. Not only did she dream of becoming a Funeral Director, but she is now also an owner of a Funeral home. In 2019, Sha-Meeka's father made her dream come true by starting Peterson's Funeral Home, LLC in Griffin, GA.
Sha-Meeka loves serving God first and then families. Her ultimate goal is to put smiles on families' faces. Sha-Meeka states that she's going to help families create memories that will never die. But in doing that, Sha-Meeka believes that she must serve every family with the spirit of excellence.

Mrs. Sha-Meeka Peterson-Smith

Mr. LaDamiun D. Raines
Chief of Staff
Bishop LaDamiun D. Raines is a native of Butler, Georgia located in Taylor County, son of Willie C. Raines, Jr. and Joanne Montfort. At a very young age, Bishop Raines professed Christ and began to preach the Gospel of Jesus. As a young minister, he saw that the people of God had a greater need for the unadulterated Word of God. Bishop Raines is the Founder of The Champions Life Center of Griffin, GA.
Bishop Raines is a product of the Taylor County School System and studied Law Enforcement at South Georgia Technical College Law Enforcement Academy (2012). Bishop Raines has been actively working in the Funeral Industry for 15+ years. His career started as being one of the first Funeral Attendance and Receptionist for the late, Mr. Darryl K. Bentley at Bentley-Montford Mortuary (Butler, GA), where he later became one of the Operating Managers in April of 2019. After the passing of Mr. Bentley, Bishop Raines became a part of the Peterson Funeral Home, LLC. in Griffin, Georgia, where he serves as the Chief of Staff.
Bishop Raines is a Funeral Service Licensed Apprentice through the State of Georgia. Bishop Raines is now majoring, in Mortuary Science/Funeral Services at Columbus Technical College in Columbus, Georgia, where he will be obtaining an Associate of Science Degree and become a Licensed Funeral Director and Licensed Embalmer. Bishop Raines believes in SERVING with EXCELLENCE. He is a man that truly seeks to make God smile while taking serving to a new level. Bishop Raines has a famous saying "We can put a smile on a family's face, our work wasn't in vain."
